The body of a man has been discovered in the water near Norwich.
Emergency services attended the scene at Whitlingham Lane after reports it had been seen by the side of the riverbank this morning.
Part of a walkway where the body was found at Whitlingham Lake has been closed while investigators examine the site.
"Police can confirm the body of a man has been found in the water near Whitlingham Lane, Trowse this morning (Saturday 20 March 2021).
"Emergency services attended the scene after reports that a body had been seen along the river bank at approximately 8:43am this morning.
"Visitors to Whitlingham Lake are asked to be aware that Whittingham Lane, and part of the walkway around the lake has been temporarily closed while emergency services carry out their work. "
