Body found in search for missing woman from Thetford

Officers made the discovery in the Little Ouse river just south of the Thetford Power Station

Norfolk Police have confirmed that the body of a woman has been found near Thetford.

The discovery was made at around 10.30am yesterday (13th Jan) morning, in the Little Ouse River just south of the Thetford Power Station.

Police, fire, and ambulance services all attended the scene.

While the body has not yet been formally identified, the family of Kim Wilde have been informed.

The 65-year-old has been missing since 4.20pm on Friday 5 January 2024.

Investigations are ongoing, while the death is not believed to be suspicious.
