Most bizzare requests from Norwich hotel guests revealed
Can you move our room to the roof and would someone dress up as the tooth fairy - those are some of the strangest requests made by guests in Norwich.
Travelodge has revealed some of the requests they've had from visitors to their three hotels in the city over the last year.
They said they've had some odd ones this year in particular relating to social distancing and the pandemic.
One customer rang up ahead of their stay and asked the receptionist to book him two rooms and for her to say at check in it was due to social distancing rules - but really he wanted to get a decent nights sleep as his wife snores.
Another guest asked the hotel team to sing Happy Birthday into her phone so that she could play the recording every time she washed her hands to be Covid safe.
Away from coronavirus, one person asked if their room could be moved to the roof so his wife could sleep under the stars, while another asked a member of staff if they could step in to be her bridesmaid.
Staff were also asked if they'd go out and buy a luxurious birthday present, wrap it and deliver it as the guest was busy with work meetings.
One guest even asked a team member to dress up as the tooth fairy, knock on the door in the morning, and give their child ÂŁ100 because its first tooth had come out.
Shakila Ahmed, from Travelodge, said their staff always relish a challenge and will try to go above and beyond to help, but even they can't stop it raining as one visitor requested.
