Rare snow leopard arrives at Banham Zoo
Banham Zoo have announced the arrival of Aurora the snow leopard
A very rare (and very cute) animal has found a new home in Norfolk.
Banham Zoo have announced the arrival of Aurora, the two-year-old snow leopard from Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens.
Aurora is joining Shen, the zoo's resident male snow leopard, as part of the EAZA European Breeding Programme.
Initially, the pair will be kept apart, which will allow them to get used to each other, from separate areas of their habitat.
Aurora and Shen will then be gradually introduced to each other over the coming weeks, with the aim of them eventually having cubs.
