Fire crews attend leak at Bacton gas terminal
It supplies up to a third of the UK's gas
Fire crews from across Norfolk have attended a leak at Bacton gas terminal.
At least seven teams, including an environmental protection unit, were called to the terminal, which supplies up to a third of the UK's gas supply, at just after half past four yesterday afternoon.
Crews from Mundesley, North Walsham, Sprowston, Hethersett (including their water carrier), Stalham, Fakenham and Great Yarmouth assisted with the incident.
They were called off just before 10pm last night.
