An Attleborough man has been jailed for 10 years after admitting to multiple child sex offences.

29 year old Jack Brennan, of Estcourt Road, was sentenced at Norwich Crown Court for three counts of possession of indecent photographs of a child, two counts of sexual communication with a child, two counts of causing a child to engage in sexual activity and distributing indecent photographs of a child.

He's been ordered to sign the sex offenders' register.

The incidents happened between November 2021 and February 2022.

Police in Norfolk were tipped off by officers in the US after a victim's boyfriend reported messages sent by Brennan via Snapchat.

Investigations into his social media accounts led to further victims being identified.

Speaking after the sentencing Detective Constable Kat Baldwin of Norfolk Police said: "This case involved the predatory sexual behaviour of an adult over children."

"These offences can often leave a mark on their victim for the rest of their lives, so I am pleased to see this case has now come to a positive conclusion.

"Detective Sergeant Pete Wilson says the sentence passed by the court reflects the severity of the defendant's actions and the threat that he poses and will ensure that the victims and public will remain safe from this individual in the future.

"We hope the court case will help to bring some closure for the victims and their families.”
