Wanted attempted murder suspected arrested after escaping custody in Norfolk

It follows an incident in Thetford on Sunday 10 March 2024 when a man aged in his 30s suffered multiple stab wounds.

A 17-year-old boy, who previously escaped from local authority care, has been arrested.

The boy was located by officers in Cambridge and arrested on suspicion of absconding from lawful custody.

He has been brought back to Norfolk to be questioned at Wymondham Police Investigation Centre.

The arrest follows an incident in Thetford on Sunday 10 March 2024 when a man aged in his 30s suffered multiple stab wounds.

The 17-year-old was previously charged with attempted murder, alongside 18-year-old Elvis Price. They are both due to appear at Norwich Crown Court on Thursday 23 May.
