Anti-Islamic graffiti sprayed near Norwich mosque

Police are treating it as a hate crime

Police are appealing for information after anti-Islamic graffiti was sprayed onto pavements close to a mosque in Norwich.

Offensive words were sprayed in yellow paint on the pavement in Aylsham Road on Saturday 15 May 2021.

Supt Terry Lordan, said:

"We would like to reassure the community that incidents like these are rare, we will have extra patrols in the area and ensure that any hate incident reported to us will be taken seriously. "
