Man seriously injured in crash on the A12 in East Suffolk

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward

A man is still in hospital after suffering serious injuries in a crash in East Suffolk.

Police, fire and ambulance crews were called to the scene in Kessingland at around 1.30pm on Friday 22nd July.

The crash involved three vehicles - a silver Fiat, a black Audio and a grey Nissan.

The road was closed while enquiries were carried out but reopened a short time later.

The driver of the Fiat, a man in his 60s, was taken to hospital - a second person was also taken in as a precaution.

Anyone who saw what happened is being asked to call 101.
