7 teens taken to hospital over serious collision in Wells

Two remain in Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge, and one remains in the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn.

Norfolk Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a single vehicle collision in Wells.

It happened on Friday 12 September 2025 at around 10.47pm in Mill Road when a silver Citroen Berlingo left the road and struck a tree.

Emergency services attended including the air ambulance.

The driver was arrested at the scene on suspicion of drink driving and causing serious injury by dangerous driving.

He has since been released on police bail while inquiries continue.
