The '3 Dads Walking' campaign are telling us they'll keep pushing to get suicide prevention lessons taught in school.

Yesterday, Tim Owen, (from West Norfolk), Mike Palmer, (from Manchester) and Andy Airey, (from Cumbria), finished his 500 mile long walk from Stirling in Scotland to Norwich in 25 days, to raise awareness about the issue.

"We need to use it and see what we can achieve"

Mike Palmer lost Beth when she was 17 years-old:

"It's been an extraordinary experience and it's been very emotional coming across the finish line. We've carried our daughters with us all the way, but we've also carrying the stories of every other family that have lost a family member".

Andy Airey lost Sophie in December 2018:

"That sense of carrying all these stories from suicide bereaved parents and that we've accidentally developed a collective voice is incredible. But we need to use it and see what we can achieve"

Tim lost Emily in 2020:

"If we educate young people on how to deal with those dark suicidal thoughts, that one in five of us will have in our lifetime, then we will save lives.

Where has the money raised from this gone?

All the money raised from this challenge has gone to the national suicide prevention charity, Papyrus.
