Further 16 Covid-related deaths reported at two Norfolk hospitals

The Norfolk and Norwich and James Paget have confirmed further fatalities.

Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital has confirmed 13 more patients have died after testing positive for coronavirus.

They were eight women; three in their 90s, two in their 80s, one in their 70s, one in their 60s and one in their 50s.

Five men have also died: one in his 90s, one in his 80s, one in his 70s, one in his 50s and one in his 40s.

They all had underlying health conditions.

The James Paget says they've had three more patients die after testing positive for Covid-19.

The hospital Trust says their thoughts and condolences are with their families at this time.
