13-year-old dies after being found 'unresponsive' in Wymondham

The child was taken to hospital on Sunday where he died today

A 13-year-old boy has died following an incident in Wymondham.

Emergency services were called to Rugby Way on Sunday 6 April to reports a child had been found unresponsive just before 8.40pm.

He received treatment at the scene, including from family members, before being taken to the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital and then transferred to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge.

Sadly he died earlier today (Friday 11 April).

Police are not treating the death as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.

The force have asked that the family's privacy is respected.
