A woman's been rushed to hospital in a 'serious condition', after a crash in Mossley.

Police were called at around 1.10pm last Wednesday (18 September), to reports of a collision between two vehicles on Stamford Road.

A Ford Transit minibus crashed into the back of a Kia Soul which is believed to have been stationary. A passenger in the minibus became unseated and sustained serious injuries.

The victim, a woman in her 70s, remains in hospital.

GMP's Serious Collision Investigation Unit are now appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward. They are also keen to speak to anyone who may have any footage, including dashcam, mobile phone or doorbell footage, from the area in the moments leading up to the collision.
