Woman died after being stuck by train near Rochdale Station
Investigations are underway
Emergency services were called to the train tracks just outside Rochdale Station at about 8.34pm last night.
The line was closed and a number of services between Rochdale and Manchester Victoria were cancelled following the incident.
A woman in her 50's was pronounced dead at the scene - her family have been informed.
