Woman's close shave with hair attacker
24 year-old contacts GMP following 'aggressive' man trying to shave her head.
Police in Manchester are hunting a man who attacked a woman with an electric razer and tried to shave her head.
A 24-year-old was in the Piccadilly area of the city centre at around 7pm on Wednesday (27/04/16) when the man pounced and attempted to cut her hair.
The victim managed to fight him off and ran away.
He's described as white, around 5ft 7ins, with stubble, large build and wearing a baseball cap and a grey coat.
It follows a similar incident last week when a student had some hair snipped off but the offender's description is not thought to be different.
GMP tweeted the incident saying; "Strange job Piccadilly 8pm. Aggressive man turned on electric shavers and tried to shave back of 24 yr old woman’s head"
