Witness appeal after Wythenshawe crash leaves man fighting for his life.
It happened on Woodhouse Lane, Benchill, last night.
Police are appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage after a man was left fighting for his life and three others were injured in a collision on Woodhouse Lane in Wythenshawe.
It happened shortly before 4.45pm on Tuesday (14th March) when police were called to Woodhouse Lane at the junction of Hollyhedge Road, Benchill.
On arrival, officers established that a black Kia Picanto had hit a 27 year-old woman who was pushing her two-year-old son in a pram, before careering into a 47-year-old man and his nine-year-old daughter.
Ambulances attended and the man was taken to hospital where he's currently in a critical condition.
The man’s daughter suffered some minor cuts and bruises.
The woman was treated for a broken wrist and her son was uninjured.
The 88-year-old driver of the Kia remained at the scene and is helping police with their enquiries. No arrests have been made.

"I can only be thankful that the man's daughter and the woman and her son were not more seriously injured.."
“We have launched an investigation into how this incident happened and we would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have dash-cam footage showing the collision."
