Convicted murderers, who refuse to reveal where their victims' bodies are, should never be released ... according to a Wigan mum.

Marie McCourt's daughter, Helen, vanished in 1988.

A pub landlord was jailed for the 22-year-old's murder but refuses to reveal where her body is.

Ian Simms could be released next year because he's eligible for a parole hearing in January.

Mrs McCourt wants the Government to introduce a new law in her daughter's name to ensure murderers like him aren't freed from prison until they disclose the information.

She said:

I have endured this nightmare for almost 28 years.''

For almost three decades Simms has refused to reveal the whereabouts of Helen's body - denying us the chance to grant her the dignity of

a funeral and resting place.''
