Two men charged after young dad shot dead in street

Two men have been charged with murder and attempted murder following a fatal shooting in Ashton-under-Lyne.
Jay Cornforth and Charlie Atkinson have been remanded into custody to appeal at Manchester Magistrates' Court today.
At around 4.50pm on Wednesday 13 June 2018, police were called to reports that a man had been shot on Birch Street.
Luke Paul Graham, 31, was taken to hospital where he sadly died from his injuries.
Another man in his 20s presented himself at hospital later that day with a gunshot wound to his leg. He was discharged from hospital following treatment.
