Two charged with attempted murder following shooting in east Manchester

Two people, including a teenage boy, have been charged with attempted murder following a shooting in east Manchester.

A 19-year-old man was rushed to hospital with life-changing injuries following an incident on Hampden Crescent, Gorton on Monday 7 October.

A 17-year-old boy, who's can't be named for legal reasons, and Kavon Haselden-Hoyle, 26, of Beamish Close, Ardwick, are due to appear at Manchester Magistrates Court on Saturday 19 October.

The pair have also been charged with conspiracy to cause grievous bodily harm with intent, and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life or enable another to do so.
