Two people charged in connection with fatal stabbing in Salford

Police have charged two people following a fatal stabbing.

Kaylan Crankshaw, who's 27 and from Dauntsey Avenue in Salford, and a 17 year-old boy who can't be named for legal reasons, have both been charged with murder.

The pair are due to appear before Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court on Monday 26th April.

It's after police were called on Wednesday 21st April, shortly after 8.15pm, to a report of a stabbing on Peveril Road in Salford.

17 year-old Josiah Norman was taken to hospital, where he died from his injuries.

A 19 year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder has been bailed.
