The family of a woman who was murdered in a flat in Ancoats have paid tribute to her.

Danielle Richardson, who was 24 and from Oldham, was found dead in the property on Swan Street at about 07:40 on Tuesday (13th February 2018).

Her family said:

“Dannii was a loving and caring mother, sister, daughter and auntie.

“She had a heart of gold and would help anyone who needed it. She worked briefly as a carer in an elderly care home and she was much loved by many of the residents.

“There isn’t anyone that would have a bad word to say about Dannii. It’s broken everyone’s hearts that she was taken from us so soon.

“We know she will be watching over us and will always be in our hearts.

A 37-year-old man who's currently in hospital has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
