Boy, 17, among three charged over Cheetham Hill stabbing

Three teenagers, including a 17-year-old boy, have been charged with murder over a stabbing in Cheetham Hill.

26-year-old Vernand Murray was found with stab wounds following reports of a car chase through Cardinal Street last Thursday (23 October).

He was given CPR at the scene and rushed to hospital but died a short time later.

Police have now charged three people with murder, and a fourth person arrested over the attack has been released on bail.

Investigations are continuing and detectives are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
