Three charged over motorbike crash which killed Stockport teen

Three people have been charged in connection with the death of a teenager in a crash involving a stolen motorbike and a car.

16-year-old Dean Barnes, from Brinnington, was killed when he collided with a car while riding the bike through Ainsdale Grove in Reddish on 24 January 2023.

Following what police have called a "complex" investigation, three people have now been charged.

Adam Norman from Brinnington has been charged with burglary, causing death by dangerous driving, and causing death by driving while uninsured and disqualified.

Alex Riley from Brinnington has been charged with burglary and dangerous driving.

Callum Duncan from Reddish has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving.

They will appear at Stockport Magistrates Court on Thursday 2 January 2025.
