Teenager from Oldham dies in Yorkshire car crash.
The 17-year-old was thrown from the car as it traveled along the M18.
It's emerged a 17-year-old boy from Oldham was the victim of a crash in Yorkshire over the weekend.
Officers are asking witnesses to come forward following the collision at about 7.30pm on Saturday (13th May) on the M18 towards Doncaster. The teenager, who is yet to be named, was a passenger in a black BMW which reportedly left the carriageway and ended up on its roof.
The teenager was thrown from the car as a result of the collision and subsequently collided with a blue Citroen Picasso, travelling in the same direction.
He was pronounced dead at the scene and his family is being supported by specially trained officers.
Two other men travelling in the car, aged 18 and 19, suffered minor injuries.
Police want to hear from anyone who saw the BMW prior to the collision.
