Student Dies After Falling From Flats In Salford
A 20 year old student has fallen to her death from a block of flats in Salford.
It happened just before 6 this morning - when emergency services were called to the building on Belvedere Road.
She was pronounced dead at the scene - and police say there are no suspicious circumstances.
GMP has releases this statement:
“Shortly before 5:55am on Wednesday 28 October 2015, police were called by the ambulance service to Belvedere Road, Salford to reports that a woman had fallen from a building.
Officers attended but a 20-year-old woman was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
There are believed to be no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and a file is being prepared for the coroner."
Meanwhile, a University of Salford spokesman said:
"We are saddened to report the tragic death of one of our students.
We are working with police to do all we can to support the student’s friends and family at this sad time."
