It's been revealed a Stockport mum who died in a tragic skiing accident in the French Apls was a volunteer with Manchester Street Angels.

Anne Clayton was on holiday with her family at the La Plagne Ski Resort when she lost control and collided with a tree on Monday morning.

Tributes are now pouring in for the 54-year-old.

In a statement on their Facebook page the Street Angels say 'Our very dear friend & amazing angel has sadly passed away. God needed a true Angel to join him. Sending all our love to her family, friends & fellow Angels. Rest in peace, gone but never forgotten'.
