Parklife and Warehouse Project co-founder Sacha Lord is hoping to give local businesses a boost by offering free drinks in pubs and clubs across the city.

The Manchester night time economy advisor has launched a new 'Hospitality Hour' to thank customers for their ongoing support for venues following the pandemic.

Punters will be treated to free drinks at the newly re-opened Adelphi Lads Club this Sunday (26th June) between 5pm and 6pm.

The club was first formed in 1888 to keep kids out of trouble and closed its doors in 2008, before suffering a devastating fire two years later.

Rising from the ashes, the renovated club will offer music, drinks and food every Thursday through to Sunday this summer.

Callum Broome, co-owner and operator of Adelphi Lads Club, said: " We are delighted to be the first venue for Sacha's Manchester Hospitality Hour today and hope to see as many people down here as possible.

"The past two years have been the most challenging of our industry, and his continued support and championing of the city-region has been invaluable.

"This is a great way to give back those who have supported us all through this time."

The government advisor has also taken to Twitter to ask where he should support next.
