Raheem Sterling appeals for donors to come forward to save sick boy
The City star posted the appeal on his Facebook and Twitter.
City star Raheem Sterling has issued an urgent appeal on social media to find a life-saving donor for a terminally ill boy.
Posting on Facebook and Twitter, the 23-year-old shared the story of Damary Dawkins who's been fighting Lymphoblastic Leukaemia since he was nine.
He directly appeals to the Afro-Caribbean community to come forward saying: "The worldwide register has no matches for him, the problem here is that there are not enough Afro-Caribbean donors on the register."
Damary has been told that his only chance of survival is through stem cell treatment.
