Cannabis Seized During Warrant in Oldham

Police have seized Cannabis in Oldham with an estimated street value of £12,000.

At 3.30pm on Monday 7 December 2015, officers from Oldham Challenger Organised Crime Unit executed a warrant at a house on Woodford Road, Failsworth.

Whilst searching the home, police found a large amount of cannabis.

A 57-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply and has been bailed until 19 February 2015

Detective Inspector Paul Walker said: “This was another significant find as we continue to rid our streets of drugs. The information we receive from the public is essential and I would ask anyone who knows where drugs are being dealt or produced to contact us.”
