Police have refreshed their appeal to trace a missing mum-of-two from Chorlton as they continue to search woodland close to where she was last seen.

Christina Rack vanished after leaving her home on Bolesworth Close on Monday 1st October at around 8.15pm.

Despite extensive enquiries by detectives and public appeals by her family, Christina is yet to be found.

She was last seen wearing a blue Fat Face parker coat with a beige fur hood, grey jeans and purple wellington boots.

There have been no further sightings of Christina and police still believe she may have walked to the Ivy Green area of Chorlton into the woodlands.

Officers will be revisiting the woodlands throughout the coming days to conduct further searches.

Detective Inspector Lisa Ogden, of GMP’s City of Manchester division, said: “Sadly it has been over two months since Christina left her home in Chorlton and despite extensive enquiries including area searches and mobile phone examinations, we have been unable to find her so far.

“I would continue to urge anyone that thinks they might have seen Christina at any point over the last two months to please get in touch as soon as possible.

“Christina has been known to travel in to Cheshire in the past so we are continuing to ask people in that area to also look out for her wherever possible.

“We’ve got some good pictures of her and know what she was last wearing so please take a good look at this appeal and do what you can to help us find Christina and reunite her with her family."

Anyone with information about Christina’s whereabouts is asked to contact police on 0161 856 6031 quoting reference number 2085 of 01/10/2018.

Reports can also be made anonymously through the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
