Police say a male sustained serious injuries
A person's been rushed to hospital with serious injuries, after he was hit by a vehicle near Old Trafford.
Police say it happened on Talbot Road just after 9.30pm yesterday.
It was around then thousands of fans were leaving the football ground following United's Premier League match against Bournemouth.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: "At approximately 9:40pm this evening (Tuesday 3 January 2023), officers were called to reports of a road traffic collision on Talbot Road in Trafford.
"Officers and emergency services attended the scene and road closures have been put in place. A male pedestrian is reported to have sustained serious injuries and has been taken to hospital for treatment. A scene remains in place whilst officers carry out their enquires."
