Oldham kids have grand old time with the Duke of York
Young entrepreneurs in Oldham have had a business boost from the Duke of York.
The royal visitor received a warm welcome to the town and gave a keynote speech to students as part of the Open Future North VIP Event at the Old Town Hall.
Pronce Andrew alsoprovided a once in a lifetime opportunity for several young pupils to meet him.
The Duke spoke about their studies and interests in business and enterprise
Ben Branford, Year 9 student from the Academy said: "I was quite star struck! It was flattering to meet the Duke of York"
Fellow pupil Hashna Begum added: "It was a surprise until I got there! The Duke of York asked me what I wanted to do when I was older and he was really supportive of my ideas and aspirations."
