A dad from Manchester and two others are today finishing their 500 mile walk in Norwich- to raise awareness about suicide prevention

Mike Palmer started this trek in Stirling, Scotland 24 days ago, in memory of his daughter Beth, who took her own life aged just 17.

"Going to be well supported along the way"

They've been fundraising for national charity Papyrus, and tells us they've been visiting the charity's new offices along the way:

"To see more hubs being opened by Papyrus across the UK means that more suicide prevention work can be carried out where it's needed.

"That's something that's helping to address an issue that's the biggest killer of our young people in the UK.

Mike has been walking alongside Andy Airey and Tim Owen who say it's been an emotional few weeks.

What's next?

All the money raised from this challenge will go to the national suicide prevention charity Papyrus.
