Murder charge over death of man in Fallowfield

Detectives investigating the death of a man in South Manchester have charged a man with murder.

Fintan McDwyer was found dead at a house on Platt Lane in Fallowfield last Monday.

Direece Roche of Longsight will appear at Manchester Magistrates Court today.

Meanwhile, detectives are continuing to appeal for information.

Emergency services attended a property on Platt Lane in Fallowfield at 8.50am on Monday 1 July and a man, who was later named as Fintan McDwyer, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

A police spokesperson said:
