Two motorcyclists die in crash on the Snake Pass

Two men have died in a motorbike crash on the Snake Pass.

The collision happened on the stretch through Holden Clough at around 1.10pm on Sunday 11 August and involved two red Ducati motorbikes.

Both riders, a man in his 50s and a man in his 60s, suffered serious injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say specially trained officers are supporting their families.

Derbyshire Police say they are keen to speak to anyone with dashcam footage of the collision, or footage showing the riders in the moments leading up to the collision.
