Meet GMP's New Chief Constable
We've been finding out more about the man all set to take charge of policing in Manchester.
Ian Hopkins has officially been given the green light to be the next Chief Constable of Greater Manchester Police.
The appointment was officially confirmed today at a public confirmation hearing in Stockport.
The Deputy Chief Constable put his name forward for the top job after Sir Peter Fahy announced he's to retire next month.
