Manchester United have knocked out Wigan Athletic in this year's FA Cup.

A goal from Dalot and a penalty from Fernandes saw the Red Devils secure a 2-0 victory.

Manchester United arrived at the DW Stadium on Monday with just two wins in their last nine matches, having lost half (14) of all their matches so far this season.

Nine Premier League defeats in 20 fixtures is their worst record since 1989-90 but they are still eighth in the table - 53 places above League One Wigan.

Manchester United will now play Newport County or Eastleigh in the fourth round.
