Manchester Self Employment Rise

A Manchester mum's been speaking to Key 103 about how she started her own photography business - as the latest figures reveal self-employment in our region is up by over a quarter.

Amelia Rose found herself struggling to find a job and followed thousands of people in our region by deciding to go it alone.

Figures published by the Office of National Statistics show over 163,000 people in Greater Manchester now work for themselves- a 28% rise since the financial crisis.
