Manchester peace campaigner has statue unveiled

One of our region's leading anti-violence campaigners has been immortalised with statue made from guns seized on the streets of Manchester.

Erinma Bell who works with young people across the city to discourage them from a life of crime had a bust of her unveiled at Manchester Cathedral.

Greater Manchester Mayor and Police Chief Ian Hopkins were amongst the speakers at the unveiling.

The peace activist told Key 103 she was humbled by the recognition.
