Man stabbed near Longsight Market as police hunt for suspect

A 32-year-old has been left with life-changing injuries, police said

A man has been left with life-changing injuries following a stabbing near to Longsight Market late on Tuesday (02 September).

Police were called to Dickenson Road at around 22:30BST, where a 32-year-old man was found with what are described as life-changing injuries.

He was taken to hospital, where he remains.

Investigations are continuing, and detectives say they are working to "identify those involved".
