Police have released CCTV images of two men they're looking for after a suspected acid attack in Oldham last night.

The victim, a 39 year old man, had a corrosive substance thrown in his face after answering his door last night in Burlington Avenue.

Greater Manchester Police were called to the scene shortly 10:40pm. It's believed two suspects ran off in the direction of Manley Road.

The victim was treated at the scene by paramedics and was then taken to hospital with serious facial burns.

He remains there in a stable condition.

No arrests have been made and a police investigation into the incident continues.

Officers are keeping an open mind as to the motive of the attack.

There's an appeal for witnesses or anyone with any information to come forward.
