Man hospitalised after serious crash in Longsight
Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward
Officers are appealing for information after a crash on Stockport Road in Longsight which left a man hospitalised with serious injuries.
At approximately 4:48pm yesterday (Thursday 12 October 2023), a bus travelling along Stockport Road is reported to have collided with a man in his 50s crossing the junction of Richmond Grove East.
The man remains in hospital for treatment although thankfully his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
An 58 year old man was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and he remains in custody for questioning.
