Man charged with Zikel Bobmanuel murder

A man's been charged with the murder of Zikel Bobmanuel in Manchester.
Police were called to an incident on Welland Street, Openshaw at around 2pm on Saturday 25 March 2023.
The 32-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene by first responders and at this stage, it is believed he died as a result of gunshot wounds.
Emannuel Onasanya, who's 32 and from John Beeley Avenue in Manchester has been charged with murder and has been remanded into custody.
He will appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court today (28 March 2023).
Zikel’s family are aware of this development in the investigation and continue to be supported by specialist officers.
