A man's been charged with murder after a car careered into a group of people, killing a man, outside a social club in stockport.

Two others suffered minor injuries on Sunday night when a black Audi collided with a number of people outside the Salisbury Club in Truro Avenue, Brinnington.

The car sped off and was found dumped in the middle lane of the M60 several hours later.

Jonathan William Snape - who's 30 and from Wythenshawe - is accused of murder, attempted murder, assault and driving a vehicle dangerously.

The victim has been named as 30-year-old Nathan Marshall from Reddish.

His family has described him as a kind and loving son, saying: "Nathan was our first born. He lit up the room when he was alive. Living without him will be the hardest thing we will do as a family and we are devastated by our loss."

Snape will appear at Manchester Magistrates' Court later.
