Man charged after Salford shooting

A man's been charged after a gun was fired on a residential street in Salford.

36 year old Adam Wass has been charged with several firearms offences

It's after an incident on St Joseph's Drive on Sunday - police say nobody was injured.

Wass is not known to have a fixed address.

He has been charged with:

Section 16 – Possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life

Section 18 – Possession of a firearm with intent to commit an indictable offence

Section 21 – Possession of a firearm when prohibited

Wass is due at Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ Court today, Thursday 5 February 2026.
