Man charged after Christmas dinner items stolen from Wigan freezer

A man has been charged after Christmas dinner items were stolen from a freezer in Wigan.

A frozen turkey, two packs of pigs in blankets, a pack of prawns, spring rolls and chicken satay skewers were among the items reportedly taken on Saturday 07 December.

Police charged Gary Marsh, 38, of Heath Street in Golbourne, Wigan, with six counts of burglary and one count of vehicle interference.

He is due to appear in court.
