A man has been arrested following the death of a man at an apartment in Manchester.
Emergency services were called to an address on Graver Lane, Newton Heath yesterday lunchtime (Sunday 30 October), following a report of concern for the welfare of a man.
The man – believed to be aged in his 40s – died a short time later. Officers are currently working to identify and inform his family.
A man was detained at the scene and investigations are ongoing into the circumstances that caused the man’s death.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: "Any information should be passed to us via LiveChat or by calling 101 quoting incident 1654 of 30/10/2022.
