IOPC investigate death of woman in the city centre

The Office for Police Conduct has launched an investigation in to the death of a woman in the city centre.

Danielle Richardson was found dead stabed to death at a flat in Ancoats in February 2017.

Today, the police watchdog has confirmed that the 24-year-old had contacted officers prior to her death.

Michael Marler, who's 37-years-old, has been arrested on suspicion of her murder.
