Kevin Hart and Ice Cube make surprise apparence at a premier of Ride Along 2 in Manchester
Kevin Hart and Ice Cube made a surprise guest appearance at the Manchester premier of their latest comedy film, Ride Along 2 at ODEON in The Printworks.
The celebrity pair met 200 excited and shocked fans in the exclusive screening, where they believed they were just getting a sneak preview of the film on Tuesday 19th January.
One fan said: “I won some free tickets for myself and a friend by entering a competition on The Printworks Facebook page.
“We were excited to be seeing Ride Along 2 before its release, but when Kevin Hart and Ice Cube walked in to the screen before it started, I thought I was hallucinating – it was so surreal.”
ODEON is one of the UK's most recognisable cinema brands and the one in The Printworks has 20 screens and is a flagship site of the North. Printworks Odeon is also home to Europe's second largest IMAX screen.
Fred Booth, Centre Director at The Printworks, commented: "We regularly run competitions to win cinema tickets, as well as other special offers and prizes for experiences at The Printworks.
“When we offered tickets to Ride Along 2, the surprise guest appearance of the film’s leading actors was an incredible added bonus.”
Tickets for Ride Along 2 at ODEON in The Printworks are on general sale now. The eagerly-anticipated sequel to the smash hit original, which promises even more ridiculous action than last time, is showing from Friday 22nd January 2016.
